This course is required for officers who serve on vessels equipped with RADAR. Students attending this course will develop the skills needed for risk assessment, collision avoidance, and navigation.
This USCG approved (United States Coast Guard) 4 day course utilizes both classroom and live scenarios at the fire academy -focusing on meeting the minimum standard of competence in advanced firefighting. A trainee will be competent in: Control fire-fighting operations aboard ships Organize and train fire parties Ability to inspect and service fire detection and fire extinguishing systems and equipment. Able to investigate and compile reports on incidents involving fire.
This 3 day course focuses on introducing the candidate to the proper Bridge Resource and Teamwork Management functions and on taking action to avoid close quarters situations.This CLASSROOM BASED BRM course will satisfy the Bridge Resource Management Training Requirement of STCW.
This course is designed for officers and crew who will provide immediate first aid and assist the Medical Person In Charge and is recommended for all crew members.

Satisfy your Stability & Ship Construction training requirement and get some of the necessary stability & ship's construction assessments completed along the way! Learn the basics of ship stability and essential theoretical concepts used by mariners to maintain positive stability. This 5 day course provides students with knowledge of the characteristics of various weather systems, reporting procedures and recording systems. This course will satisfy the Basic Meteorology Training of STCW A-II/1 for raise in grade from the support to the operational level licenses as per USCG Policy Letter.
