Preparing for MCA Advanced Firefighting
Course Description
- Must have taken an MCA accepted Basic Fire Fighting Course meeting the requirement for Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting in accordance with Section A-VI/1-2 of the STCW Code.
- Must be medically fit for the course

STCW Basic Fire fighting Course
six months of sea service

4 day class in Fort Lauderdale

PASSPORT for Photo ID, Paper, Pencil, Pen, Highlighter, Closed toed shoes, socks, jeans/workpants, and t- shirt, bring sea time letter & proof of Basic Firefighting. Please note: This course is not recommended for pregnant women or those who cannot participate in moderate physical exertion. (If requesting an MCA Certificate, bring sea time letter & proof of Basic Firefighting course completion).
