Course Description
This course is strongly recommended for everyone taking the MCA Officer of the Watch Navigation and Radar and ARPA (NARAS) Course #402.
This class is usually held the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) before the Nav/Radar starts on Monday. If you are traveling in for the Nav and Radar, please come in on Friday night so you are also available for this prep course.
The prep class helps to review the navigational concepts that were covered in your yachtmaster class and that you are expected to be current with before starting the NARAS course. This is an excellent review and can make the difference in passing your Nav/Radar on the first try because you can start the class with confidence and not have to feel behind on the basics.
