Required Materials
For the in-water tasks: Bring a one-piece swimsuit or fitted swim trunks; rash guards are also acceptable. Bikinis are not recommended as they may be impractical or uncomfortable during activities like boarding a life raft from the water. Also, bring a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor activities. For the fire field: Bring long pants (jeans or work pants) and closed toe shoes for fire training. Please note that lunch is neither provided nor will there be time to go and get lunch. Please bring your lunch with you. Class time can run up to 1700-1730 (depending on weather and if there are any additional attempts at the assessments). Please do NOT schedule flights out before 1800 same day as class.
