Course Description

Emergency Procedures - Course #208
 
This 2.5 day course covers procedures for dealing with emergency situations and the training that is necessary to maintain an effective response. This course will satisfy the Respond to Emergencies standard of competence requirements of Table A-II/1 of the STCW Code, as amended 2010; and 46 CFR 11.309(a)(3) for certification as an Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch on vessels of 500 gross tons (ITC) or more.  Completion of this course also meets completion of the specific assessment tasks from the National Assessment Guidelines found in NVIC 12-14; Tasks 5.1.A, 5.2.A and 5.3.A.
