Stability & Ships Construction: Basic - OICNW - Course #203
 This 5 day course provides candidates with an understanding of the Theory and Calculations for Stability and Ships Construction for the OICNW. This course will satisfy the Basic Stability & Ships Construction Training of 46 CFR 11.309(a)(4)(xii) for an STCW endorsement as OICNW on vessels of 500 GT or more. NVIC 12-14 Tasks completed in class include:

11.3.A – Critical Elements of Ship Structure

13.1.A – Application of Stability Trim & Stress Tables and Diagrams

13.2.A – Actions in Event of Partial Loss of Intact Buoyancy
